Vex ended today.
That’s 145 pages spread out over five chapters being uploaded every week for almost a year. One of the best compliments that I think a web comic can get is when readers complain that it’s over.
Actually, Vex was finished before it even started. It was all part of the plan…to make a complete graphic novel and put it out on the interwebs for all to see. And who knows, we might visit Michael Thomas’ world again. We’ve talked about it….we’ll see what we come up with.
In the meantime, we have Deputy Witch uploading twice a week. And we know what the next two books will be after that. Hopefully our third book will be uploading before Deputy Witch is finished. That’s the plan anyway, to generally have two stories going on at the same time.
As far as Vex, we’re exploring publishing options. So keep an eye out for it. If you’ve enjoyed it, and you see it out for sale somewhere…buy it!

I’m really sort of disappointed it was so short — I wanted to see Mike develop an interest in the arcane and become a good wizard, and also see him go from being the JerkJock BMOC to a really decent guy. I wanted to see him make friends with the kids he’d tormented, or at least apologize to them for having been so mean.
