So, I get home and find a note in my mailbox from the mailman asking me to remove the poison ivy around the mailbox. So after removing the Virginia Creeper (not poison ivy), i left the following note in the mailbox:
Dear Claudette,
The plant around the mailbox was not poison ivy, it was Virginia Creeper. Poison Ivy has three leaves (leaves of three, let it be). Virgina Creeper has five leaves, is harmless, and mostly decorative. However due to your… concern…I have removed it…because I’m such a swell guy. As a token of my appreciation for bringing this to my attention, I have attached a postcard for my free online graphic novel VEX. And don’t worry about the Virginia Creeper mix up. It is actually very common.
